During the two-day program, partners had the opportunity to learn about key cultural, historical and social initiatives in Mentana. The field part included visits to the Archaeological Museum MUCAM, the MuGa Museum, the Battle of Mentana Memorial, the old town and the library, where examples of cultural heritage preservation and valorisation were presented in support of community development and the cultural and creative sector.

Photos of the regions: joint learning through examples of good practices

One of the key elements of the project is the "photo of the region", which provides a comprehensive insight of the current state, challenges and potential of cultural and creative industries in the partner countries. Based on these analyses, partners can share knowledge, exchange experiences and propose measures to improve existing policies. In the upcoming phases, each partner will present its region, enabling a clearer understanding of different approaches and solutions.

About the project

PROSPERO is implemented within the Interreg Europe 2021-2027 programme, with the aim of improving public policies that recognize cultural and creative industries as drivers of sustainable, smart and inclusive development. Through cooperation and the exchange of good practices, the project contributes to strengthening the capacities of public institutions and local communities, as well as to the development of more effective policies for the cultural and creative sector. The total value of the project amounts to 1.766.451,00 EUR and is financed by the European Union, with implementation lasting until 31.07.2029.
