Project Description

The Network4Work project is implemented within the Interreg URBACT IV 2021-2027 programme and aims to address employment and labour market challenges at the local level. Through participation in the URBACT transfer network, the project enables the transfer and application of proven European good practices in partner cities. The focus is on joint learning, exchange of experiences and the development of solutions that contribute to better cooperation between the public and private sectors.

The good practice being transferred was developed in the Municipality of Nyíregyháza in Hungary, where the Local Employment Forum operates as a platform for coordination of institutions, employers and other relevant stakeholders. Through transnational cooperation, meetings and workshops, partners will work on adapting this model to the needs and specificities of their local communities.

OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the project is to improve local employment and labour market policies through the adoption of a proven cooperation model, which contributes to better connecting local stakeholders and a more efficient response to labour market needs.

RESULTS

The Network4Work project is expected to result in strengthened capacities of local institutions and improved approaches to designing and implementing employment policies in partner cities. During the project, URBACT local groups will be established to bring together key stakeholders and enable joint work on analysing needs and defining concrete measures. As a result, partners will develop Transfer plans with clear guidelines for the implementation of transferred good practices in local policies, thus creating the basis for long-term cooperation and sustainable solutions even after the project ends.
