At the Vocational Training Center in Šabac, on November 19, 2019, the sixth international workshop within the SOLICRIS project was held.
The theme was solidarity in times of health crisis. The workshop focused on public health risks emerging in Europe, caused by many factors, including migrant waves, biological and chemical factors, and other factors. The need to develop risk awareness, solidarity and exchange of experience was also highlighted. They also spoke about the mental crisis of society, especially in the younger population, and the expected consequences it will have on society as a whole.
In addition to the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA, the partners in the project are organizations from six European cities: Graz, Maribor, Varaždin, Tolmezzo, Szombathely and Šabac. The aim of the project is to develop a network of solidarity between municipalities, regional authorities, civil society organizations, and citizens in times of crisis.
