Different development initiatives and actions to mitigate the effects of the economic crisis have been presented, from different levels: state institutions, international organizations, non-governmental sector, etc. The workshop was attended by representatives from project partner countries, representatives of ministries, faculties, public institutions, enterprises, and non-governmental organizations. The conclusion of the workshop is that the economic crisis has greatly influenced all segments of the society, the public and private sectors, and ultimately the citizens. In order to minimize the negative effects of the economic crisis, work must be done on mutual solidarity at all levels, and that positive changes are currently being made in the direction of greater social solidarity, but they need to be linked and promoted as much as possible to the public through different channels - media, politicians, educators, religious communities and others.

In the beginning of 2018, SERDA, together with seven international partners, started with the implementation of the SOLICRIS project, which aims to develop a network of solidarity between municipalities, regional authorities, civil society organizations and citizens in times of crisis. During the project, seven workshops with participation of international actors from the public, social and civic level are being implemented with the aim of creating concrete crisis scenarios and prevention planning.
